Misionera

Misionera is the most famous composition of Argentinian composer/pianist, Fernando Bustamente.
Originally composed for keyboard, this lively work has been arranged for, and performed by a wide variety of solo and ensemble instrumentalists. This arrangement exchanges melodic material between voices and highlights interplay between musicians in the guitar orchestra. Similarly it includes lively syncopated rhythms, and accessible fingerings which make this a great piece for beginning/intermediate guitar ensembles. Guitar I is the most difficult part. It carries the main melody and plays notes through the 9th position.
