Four on The Road

“Four on the Road” was composed for the 2026 New Jersey Guitar Orchestra Youth Ensemble under the direction of Jayson Martinez. I wanted to write a piece that was challenging, but would also be a lot of fun for the students to rehearse and perform. I tried to give each part something interesting to play…syncopated chordal figures, grooving bass lines, and catchy, syncopated melodies that use most of the fretboard.
