A Creative Approach

This supplemental material adds context and alternate opportunities to other method books, not replacements. The “Fundamentals Review” section offers the student an opportunity to see topics covered in their chosen method book in a different light both visually and aurally, through written explanation and applied exercise. The songs should be played as guitar duets between teacher and student or between two or more students, etc. The possibilities vary, depending on the song. Many of these songs are designed as a vehicle for improvisation, supplemental to aforementioned method studies.
